Description The medal is a disc in bronze alloy with the globe placed in its center. (2) Tendrils of laurel leaves surround the globe.

The gloves stand for unity of nations while the leaves stand for peace.

The service ribbon consists of nine stripes of blue alternated with eight white stripes. Constituting a part of the suspension of the medal from the ribbon is a bar made of bronze, bearing the word "Korea" (for participating in the UN Korean Campaign).

Service Ribbon

The United Nations Campaign Medal is awarded to members of the AFP by the Chief of Staff, AFP for service to any member nation on behalf of the United Nations organization in peacekeeping operations, and to personnel dispatched to any member nation as members of paramilitary or quasi-military units, for service in support of the United Nations action and certified by the United Nations Commander-In-Chief, United Nations Command, as having directly supported operations there.
