United National Progressive Alliance

United National Progressive Alliance is a grouping of eight political parties in India who are neither in UPA nor in NDA or in Indian left. The alliance was recently formed together and decided to approach Abdul Kalam to contest the Indian presidential election. Rasheed Masood was their Vice-Presidential candidate.
Recently, UNPA organized a seminar in New Delhi on 'Farmers Issues and Challenges' in partnership with 'Hariyali TV News Channel', the pioneer news channel for rural India. The seminar was attended by Mr. Amar Singh, Mulayam Singh, Om Prakash Chautala, Chandrababu Naidu, Mr. Rakesh Gupta (Sadhna-Hariyali TV) and many more MPs. This programme was telecast live on Hariyali TV.
