The United Liberal Party (ULP) is a political party in Zambia. It was formed in July 2006 by Sakwiba Sikota after he lost the contest to become leader of the United Party for National Development. In the 28 September 2006 National Assembly election results the party won 2 out of 159 seats. The ULP later joined the opposition United Democratic Alliance.
