United Airways is a startup airline in Bangladesh to serve the Bangladesh domestic market. The company was founded in 2005 and began flights on 10 July 2007 with its first aircraft, a Dash 8-100, purchased from Island Air.[1][2]

United Airways' fleet started off with a Dash 8-100 purchased from Island Air which was delivered on 30 May 2007. Another is expected to be delivered in late July 2007 and they are also looking to acquire two Fokker F100 by August 2007 which will enable United Airways to launch regional services.[3]
