Unit 4 Agresso (Euronext: U4AGR) is a Dutch provider of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Its headquarters are in Sliedrecht, the Netherlands. The company was formed as a result of the 2001 merger of the Norwegian software house Agresso Group ASA and Unit 4. Unit 4 Agresso has subsidiaries in the UK, Spain, Germany, Portugal, France, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Canada. Agresso R&D, the software development branch of Unit 4 Agresso, is located in Oslo, Norway.
Unit 4 Agresso develops, implements and sells several ERP packages, including the full-suite ERP solution, Agesso Business World, which consists of a smart-client (i.e. windows based client) and a platform independent client that runs via a web browser.
The software consists of core modules, which include Financials, Logistics, Budgeting, Human Resources, Project Costing & Billing, Payroll, etc and supports a multitude of technologies that allow integration with third party/legacy systems through various formats, including XML. It also allows for data warehousing and data retrieval through an integrated suite of desktop reporting tools, including Excelerator which provides users the ability to run queries though Microsoft Excel and returns the data set within the Excel application.
The company is listed on the Euronext stock exchange. In 2008, it purchased the UK listed company, CODA.[1]
