Unirea Shopping Center is a shopping mall located in Unirii Square, Bucharest, Romania. Opened in the 1990s, it was the first modern shopping center in Bucharest, with part of it being built in a former Ceauşescu-era hunger circus. The closest metro station to the center is Piaţa Unirii metro station.
As recently as 2001, the upper floors consisted largely of shops that were little more than vendor stalls. Today, however, it is now a modern shopping center.
