Union Township is one of thirteen townships in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. As of the 2000 census, its population was 1,682.

Union Township covers an area of 27.38 square miles and contains one incorporated settlement, Shadeland; the town and the township share the same borders. According to the USGS, it contains three cemeteries: Durkee, Farmers Institute and Hickory Grove.
