Union Dale is a borough in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 368 at the 2000 census.

Union Dale is located at 41°42′58″N, 75°29′13″W (41.715974, -75.486995)[1].

According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 2.6 square miles (6.7 km²), of which, 2.5 square miles (6.6 km²) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.2 km²) of it (2.32%) is water.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 368 people, 148 households, and 104 families residing in the borough. The population density was 145.7 people per square mile (56.2/km²). There were 182 housing units at an average density of 72.0/sq mi (27.8/km²). The racial makeup of the borough was 98.64% White, 0.27% African American, 0.82% Asian, and 0.27% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.35% of the population.

There were 148 households out of which 31.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.8% were married couples living together, 8.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.1% were non-families. 27.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 15.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.49 and the average family size was 3.01.

In the borough the population was spread out with 26.9% under the age of 18, 9.0% from 18 to 24, 27.7% from 25 to 44, 20.4% from 45 to 64, and 16.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 36 years. For every 100 females there were 106.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.8 males.

The median income for a household in the borough was $28,375, and the median income for a family was $33,125. Males had a median income of $30,125 versus $15,500 for females. The per capita income for the borough was $12,960. About 15.3% of families and 17.0% of the population were below the poverty line, including 24.7% of those under age 18 and 10.1% of those age 65 or over.
