- It seems to me the USN's S class(es) need to be distinguished somehow from the other S classes, a la United States Porpoise class submarine, E class submarine (USN), or whatever.

- Shouldn't the footer be at [[Template:United States S class submarine]], and the relevant text on S class submarine be moved to this page? Should there be one category or four? (I'd say one
