[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Godlo uwm.png
Image:Godlo uwm.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Molobo and Space Cadet
your claims about Allenstein, "Polish" Olsztyn and removal of Prussian German references. I have a request:
Request for Molobo and Space Cadet to look at records Of Allenstein (Polish Olsztyn) [1] Check this complete webpage, by clicking on filmed church records for each town (about a dozen) and notice their actual factual names and the church records of vital statistics of inhabitants.
The (filmed) church records do not go as far back as Copernicus. They only started after the Reformation, mostly in the 1600s, some places end of 1500's. The earliest records you find from Allenstein Landkreis and towns are from 1628, 1676, 1681 until 1900's. The one from the town now called Lamkowo goes from 1628 - 1947/48, same town, same churchbooks- then new country
Now after you go through each one of the church records, please do post your results here. Thank you MfG Jan 25 2008
- State your point, please.Space Cadet (talk) 00:15, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
- OK, I looked at a couple, can you tell me what I'm supposed to be looking for and what's the purpose of this? Space Cadet (talk) 02:56, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
The purpose? Molobos and your removal of Allenstein, replacing it with Olsztyn

I still don't see your point, sorry, you're gonna have to spell it out for me. Space Cadet (talk) 22:58, 29 January 2008 (UTC) We refer Olsztyn as Allenstein only when it belonged to the Order, Prussia or Germany. Space Cadet (talk) 23:00, 29 January 2008 (UTC) I did not replace anything, only removed "Allenstein" form one sentence. As it was the sentence was suggesting that for 600 years of history the city was known ONLY as Allenstein. That's nonsense. Sorry. Space Cadet (talk) 23:09, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
A saying comes to mind for someone who has problems comprehending the big picture all at once, (loose translation): "sometimes the dollar coin trickles in one penny at a time"
This might help you: The university website bases University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn on the inclusion of the 450 years old theological facility at todays Olsztyn Warmia Masuria (until 1945 Allenstein Warmia).
Above are listed the theological records at Allenstein incl.county towns of Allenstein, from 1613-1947/49. The 1999 'founding' of the university is based on 450 years Warmia theological education. MfG 30 Jan 2008
The name "Olsztyn" was never used in any language except Polish before 1945. No official documents, even issued in Royal Prussia used "Olsztyn". Schwartz und Weiss (talk) 16:53, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
