[edit] Recent Controversy
Recent restructuring within the university due to Katrina has brought about alterations to its current and future direction. Budget cuts have necessitated the elimination of several programs of study (much as other New Orleans universities face) and some faculty and staff members. With student enrollment having declined after the storm, it is focused on maintaining its reputation as an academically competitive four year university.
[edit] Go?
I can't figure out how to do it, but when "university of new orleans" is typed into the search box and go is pressed, it needs to go directly to this page, not just the search page with this article as the 100% match. Mikelj 20:22, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Article source
Is the bulk of this article taken from the UNO website or did the UNO website take its information directly from this article? Runnermonkey 05:00, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
- Damn, looks like a massive copyright violation text dump from http://www.uno.edu/history.cfm has been in the article for over a year!! Thanks for finally spotting it-- I reverted to an earlier version of the article. Sheesh, -- Infrogmation 05:10, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
