[edit] Students' Union / Association sabs list deletion

  • I've started a discussion on Chriscf's Talk Page as this involve all the union's page. Please go there to provide your opinion if you're interested. -- KTC 16:04, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
    • I will be removing the above discussion from my talk page. User talk pages are for personal communication. They are not for conducting general content debates. Feel free to start a discussion in the Wikipedia namespace, but this is not an appropriate discussion for user pages. Chris talk back 16:01, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
      • Discussion was needed because of your unilateral deletion on multiple pages. So in a sense, your talk page does fit for purpose. Anyhow, it's now at Talk:Students Union -- KTC 03:44, 20 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Largest Students Union

As the University of London is the largest University in the country (120,000 students) the University of London Students' Union must, by definition, be the largest students union in the country. I have ammended the page to this end--193.60.230.27 19:42, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] A bit of TLC

Potentially this could be a useful and interesting page but at the moment it needs a lot of general work. I've tidied up the way it was ordered and cleaned up the bit on the An Najah twinning. I've also deleted the section on Wikispectus which seems no longer to exist. I removed the line at the end of the intro saying that a number of people have gone into politics from UMSU, firstly it seems generally unlikely being as UMSU has only existed since 2004, second only one well known politician is listed on the page. If UMSU has indeed been a breeding ground for political talent could people expand the former Presidents and officers section. Stuff on other big student campaigns would be good, Arthur Lewis, Reclaim the Uni, opposition to Alan Gilbert generally as long as its NPOV and well referenced. [edit] An Najah

To the user who keeps making changes to the An-Najah section. Please don't just add in your own opinion on the issue. Don't just add extra sentences telling people stuff like "the motion was rascist" or "they tried to twin with Al-Quds in london and the Israeli lobby tried to stop it", people can see the motion for themselves since it's linked and if you want to mention the London twinnings a 'see also' would be a nice improvement. One thing I will concede is that the only comment is from the israeli ambassador, which adds a certain bias. If you want to add in a quote from a significant figure on the Pro-palestine side to even it up that's fine. Please reference. I'm happy to have your input but this isn't a blog.
