No mention is made of the Dec. 13, 1977 plane crash of nearly the entire basketball team, including coaches, trainers and others. People around the world (yes) know the U of Evansville only because of that tragic crash.

Brian Bolsey attends this school and he's famous. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 192.195.225.6 (talkcontribs) .

Could you please specify who that is? A cursory search didn't return anything (nor was anything verifyable found for "Brian Bosley") — Lomn 16:36, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] A Unique Student Base

It is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and enjoys a unique student base, over half of which are female.

I was unaware that having a half-female student body was unique to the University of Evansville. Thunderbunny 04:41, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

I don't think the sentence is claiming that "over half female" is the point of uniqueness, but regardless, that reads far more like a recruiting piece than an encyclopedia article. — Lomn 17:50, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
