[edit] ABOUT UNIVERSIDAD DE CHILE

Sería bueno poner una lista de personalidades que han estudiado en "la Chile", tal como existe en páginas de universidades americanas ó europeas.

[edit] Agregué un poco de información sobre el período de Régimen militar y los cambios que tuvo en la U

[edit] Oldest institution in America [Americas]

isn't Harvard University the oldest university in "the Americas"? I think it should say "the oldest institution in Latin-America.

Harvard isn't the oldest in america, it's San Marcos University, Lima.

[edit] Ranking

Anonymus 190.46.164.104 wrote about his edition: "This is controvertial, as many rankings put it behind PUC in terms or research and prestige. Besides, it's widely known that PUC concentrates the best applicants which is reflected on the PSU score". That's false. The PUC generally use PSU requirements with fewer (or no) ponderation for specific tests. Specific usually gives lesser scores. Comparing the standard ponderation of the PSU, UCH gets similar or better applicants. And, as its registered in many studies, it's widely superior in research and publication.IsmaelPR 19:50, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
