[edit] 30 July 2005: Merge TeamBath into University of Bath?

I would say that TeamBath is a distinct entity, and should have its own page, any particular reason for the suggested merger? Three 21:42, 30 July 2005 (UTC)

I created the TeamBath page so I'm biased: I second Three as TeamBath may be related but distinct. Furthermore there is a possbility of expanding it into a full article once time permits. That said, reasons for merging would be helpful.--Mintchocicecream 22:02, 30 July 2005 (UTC)

I have removed the suggested merger from the TeamBath page as there has been plenty of time for anyone to comment in favour of the merger. -- Three 21:55, 10 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] 24 January 2006: Level of detail for societies

There have been a number of attempts to add more detail about specific societies. I agree with current practice of deleting them... but should that not also include the entry about 'Bath Rag', which is just one of many societies. -- Three 08:14, 24 January 2006 (UTC)

Bath Rag is not strictly a society - and has a far greater remit than most societies, as well as it's national affiliations. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.32.74.60 (talk) 19:59, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] 12 June 2006: Split TeamBath back to new article

I split TeamBath back to a new article. The reason is because the discussion last July contained no support for merging; whoever merged TeamBath did so without consultation or agreement. Furthermore, now that Bath Killer Bees has an article, surely TeamBath ought to have one. I would propose considering any attempts of merging TeamBath as vandalism. --mintchocicecream 19:30, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] University ratings

It should be pointed out that the reference for bath being "best overall university" does not contain this statement - for this reason the opening paragraph has been altered to reflect this - should a reference be found to justify this statement, it should be reinstated.

(I'm posting this to all articles on UK universities as so far discussion hasn't really taken off on Wikipedia:WikiProject Universities.)

There needs to be a broader convention about which university rankings to include in articles. Currently it seems most pages are listing primarily those that show the institution at its best (or worst in a few cases). See Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Universities#University ratings. [edit] Fair use rationale for Image:TeamBath.gif

Image:TeamBath.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:08, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
