Talk:Universe of The Longest Journey
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Disambiguation required
The article starts "The Balance in the computer adventure game The Longest Journey is a world order..." with a wikilink to "world order", which is a disambiguation page. Which article is being referred to? Burns flipper 07:18, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
- I really don't know myself. :( I choose the term "world order" 'cuz I ran out of other options. In fact, I don't think it is even appropriate in this case. :( --Koveras 19:44, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
- I suggest we re-word using this page for reference. Burns flipper 07:25, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
- I see it's been changed to 'doctrine'. Having read the link it seems true, although there also seems to be a 'force' associated with it. I'm reminded of the opening and closing scenes of the game where we see a force flowing through the Guardian. Burns flipper 07:15, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Merge
Arcadia (The Longest Journey), Balance (The Longest Journey), and Stark (The Longest Journey) should be merged into a Universe of The Longest Journey article. The reader would have a better understanding of the concept if the material is presented together, and will bolster a notability argument. The articles currently have no references to assert notability per Wikipedia:Notability and Wikipedia:Notability (fiction). Merging will help to prevent deletion. - Proposing different title: Fictional setting of The Longest Journey series, per WP:WAF. --Koveras ☭ 20:57, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

- I would prefer "Setting" to "Fictional setting". Since World of Final Fantasy VIII is listed as a good example at WAF, I was going off of that. As this goes beyond one world, however, I changed world to universe. I have no objection to a different title, though. Pagrashtak 16:01, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
