Perot being a "spoiler" is just sour grapes. Every poll in the nation at the time had Clinton ahead of Dole for over a year, and the exit polls from that election http://www.cnn.com/ALLPOLITICS/1996/elections/natl.exit.poll/index1.html shows Perot stole votes from both EXACTLY equally. This is much stronger proof than Republican anecdotes which are indicative of their sour grapes.
