[edit] Merge proposal

The current List of United States Representatives from Oregon article shows only the current representatives, and is the page linked from the USRep succession box. It seems unnecessary to redo that page to match what is done here. I suggest redirecting that page here. --Sprkee 23:43, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

Strongly Support - It is a waste of time and resources to duplicate the same information in two articles. (see discussion about modifying the Template:USRepSuccessionBox.)--Appraiser 15:09, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

After an admin agreed that the "List" articles should be merged and redirected to the "Delegation' articles, a contributer promptly undid the "merge and redirect". Apparently anyone can do that at anytime. Therefore one can only be successful if the voice is unanimous forever. My hope now is to get as many articles as possible linking to the "Delegations" articles, including the template mentioned, and then where the "List of Reps" and "List of Senators" exist, link to them from the "Delegations" articles. They can provide additional detail, such as List of United States Representatives from Delaware, however, at this point in time most are pretty empty and useless. Anyone who would like to help accomplish this would be appreciated. --Appraiser 18:59, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

Strongly Oppose - The articles are intended to have different information. See List of United States Representatives from Massachusetts.—Markles 14:33, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
