Talk:United States Penitentiary, Leavenworth
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The USP in Leavenworth, Kansas is not known as the "Hot House" as used by an author for the title in his book. It is and has always been the "Big Top" because of its dome. You may check www.lvarea.com/usp_info.htm for confirmation, but my family has lived outside its walls. My father worked there, we lived on its reservation, and my family has been in the Leavenworth area for 4 generations. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.51.71.8 (talk • contribs)
[edit] parole
i was wondering why there have been no changes for ndecades on the condition of parole. i read just now that there are 500+ over the allotted amount of inmates being held there. kinda crowded huh? and what about this move that is in the works? Florida? is that viable? concerned is an understatement. what is to happen next? Is there anything that the general public can do to remedy this situation? thank you, marta bailey davi_shea@yahoo.com —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 172.164.58.94 (talk) 12:03, 16 February 2007 (UTC).
[edit] Michael Vick
Vick is NOT confined within the walls of USP Leavenworth, but rather the minimum security facility that located next to the USP.24.27.133.206 (talk) 12:17, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
