[edit] It just occurred to me
Since the river is in New Hampshire by fiat, wouldn't all roads on Connecticut River bridges between NH and VT be carrying only the New Hampshire route? - Denimadept (talk) 04:25, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, that is technically true. We can explain that little detail in the article if needed. Nice work by the way on the article. --Polaron | Talk 19:14, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks. I just looked up the case. It's VERMONT v. NEW HAMPSHIRE, 289 U.S. 593 (1933). Even found a useful template for citing it. I'll learn to use this Wikipedia thang soon, I promise. :-D - Denimadept (talk) 19:37, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- Dang. Did more thinking. The legal cite says the state boundary is at the west side of the river at low water. The bridge goes beyond that point. Argh! - Denimadept (talk) 19:44, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
