[edit] Mixing up of names

The re-direct from the United Goans (Sequeira Group) -- not as spelt -- is incorrect. UGDP was founded in the 1990s. Though it claimed the legacy of the United Goans of the 'sixties and early 'seventies (apparently to corner the Catholic vote), there was nothing in continuity between these two parties separated by two or three decades.

Please keep a separate entry for the United Goans (Sequeira Group), or simply called the United Goans. --fredericknoronha 21:47, 6 September 2005 (UTC)
