[edit] Name change
Union of Vilnius would be more appropriate name, because it was signed before PLC was established.--Lokyz 18:21, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
- I think we should stay at "Union of Wilno". It's slightly more common on regular Google, and Britannica uses it. Neither "Union of Wilno" or "Union of Vilnius" show up on Google Books. Appleseed (Talk) 20:28, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
- If I remember correctly Britannica uses formulation Union of Wilno (Vilnius) so if this name was "based" on this source it is already inaccurate. Actually I convinced that it should bear Treaty or some close equivalent to this word. I would support the change. M.K. 11:44, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- I fail to see why you think the Britannica title is inaccurate. Also, can you provide some reasons why "Treaty" is better than "Union" (other than simply being convinced it's right)? Appleseed (Talk) 14:52, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- First of all, I said if this article name was based on Britannica naming analogy - is incorrect, because Britannica uses Union of Wilno (Vilnius) formulation; second - Treaty or some close equivalent. M.K. 16:34, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
