[edit] Which Loammi Baldwin is Which?

The Loammi Baldwin mentioned in this article is not Loammi Baldwin Jr(1780-1838) the son of Loammi Baldwin(1744-1807), but a grandson of Loammi BaldwinSr.(1744-1807) and nephew of Loammi Baldwin Jr.(1780-1838). This Loammi is probably the son of Colonel Benjamin Franklin Baldwin(1777-1821) who is the son of Loammi Baldwin Sr. and brother of Loammi Baldwin Jr. This son Loammi Baldwin(1813-1855) married in 1847 to Helen Eliza Avery and had a son and daughter. Most of the five sons and grandsons of Loammi Baldwin Sr. were engineers. See the references in the Loammi Baldwin Sr. article. DavidBlackwell (talk) 00:36, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
