Talk:Uninvited, Like the Clouds

Just did a bit of cleaning up on the article, was very chaotic. --TheLovableCynic 02:34, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] more cleanup needed
I don't think a Wikipedia article can start with "2006 brought the self-produced Uninvited, Like the Clouds." without any sort of general description of the entry. You know 2006 brought a whole lot of things everywhere, not just this particular music album by a specific band...
Also "The album features more Steve Kilbey original artwork"... more what? what is this referred to? Probably it refers to something that was said in another article. But Wikipedia doesn't work like that, every article needs to be self-contained and not a straight continuation of other articles.
I guess this entry deserves another bit of cleanup ;-)
- Definitely. It could use sources on all those claims, too; reviews or what have you. Rigadoun (talk) 23:43, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Point of view needs removal
I love The Church, and love this album. But this article is far too biased, and needs cleanup. Comments like "The albumss masterpiece..." and "...playing melodic pop music like only The Church can deliver" are far too personal and relect the writer's own opinion, rather than being an encyclopedia entry. The entire article needs re-writing to be more impartial and in keeping with Wikipedia's manual, as well as the points raised in previous discussion topics. I also agree with the above that an encyclopedia article should not open with "2006 brought the self-produced Uninvited, Like the Clouds." 123.2.156.16 08:45, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Uninvited-like-the-clouds.jpg
Image:Uninvited-like-the-clouds.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
