Can someone clear up the nature of the comments in the chart discussing the several ships considered as possible origins of the float? For example, what does "too fast" mean? What is the significance of the various currents mentioned? Does this evidence argue for the ship in question as being the origin of the float, or against it? --Badger151 (talk) 02:47, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

What is the list based on? I'm not saying its made up, somebody obviously went to great effort to go through these ships. But if this is not referenced, it shouldn't be here, because it might be OR. Ingolfson (talk) 10:50, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
