The M998 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV or Humvee) is a military motor vehicle. It has largely supplanted the role formerly served by the Jeep, Gama Goat, and other light trucks with the United States military, and is also used by a number of other countries and organizations.
The M2 Bradley IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle) is a American infantry fighting vehicle manufactured by BAE Systems Land and Armaments. Its mission is to transport infantry, provide fire cover to dismounted troops, and to suppress enemy tanks and armored fighting vehicles.
The Air Defense Anti-Tank System (ADATS) is a dual-purpose short range surface-to-air and anti-tank missile system based on the M113A2 vehicle. It is manufactured by the Swiss company Oerlikon-Contraves, a member of the Rheinmetall Defence Group.
The Stryker is a family of eight-wheeled all wheel drive (AWD) armored combat vehicles (ACVs) in current use by the US Army. It is the first new military vehicle to enter service in the US military since the M2 Bradley in the 1980s. The Stryker is based on the Canadian LAV III light-armored vehicle, which in turn is based on the Mowag Piranha.
The M1 Abrams main battle tank is the principal combat tank of the United States Army and the United States Marine Corps, with three main versions being deployed starting in 1980: the M1, M1A1, and M1A2. The latest versions of the M1A2 have a new armor and electronics package. It is named after General Creighton Abrams, former Army Chief of Staff.
