[edit] Missing Unix Variant

Apple Mac OS X is missing from this diagram--195.195.201.24 (talk) 12:45, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] "GNU Project Linux" is wrong

The Linux kernel is just known as Linux - while there is some debate about whether the Linux OS (apps+kernel) should be called GNU/Linux, there is controversy about this, and Linus Torvalds in particularly does not approve of this term. And of course Linux is in no sense a GNU project. See GNU/Linux_naming_controversy for much more on this.

So this item in diagram should be retitled to just "Linux", which is a less controversial name. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.2.106.242 (talk) 07:45, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
