[edit] What causes the shading effect?

This is a beautiful photograph, but I have a question: the left side of the "background" is shiny, while the right side is very dark. What is the cause of this? Is this an effect of the photographic setup, or something else? –RHolton– 02:05, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

This is obviously photoshopped. -Ed S.

  • Actually, it's probably just a drawing, but the light/dark effect is very real. Search google images for words like deep OR ultra cameo proof. — BRIAN0918 • 2007-01-02 07:09Z

[edit] Minting

This isn't a regular penny is it? From what I understand pennies are only minted in Denver and that the only coins minted in San Francisco (which is where this one is made because of the S on it) are collecters coins. Just thought that I should bring up that this is not a penny minted and meant to go into the money curculation but a collecters coin.--¿Why1991 ESP. | Sign Here 15:23, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
