This category is a bit pointless. There is only one university in Tasmania. -- Barrylb 07:58, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

The Australian Maritime College is by definition a University, I have added this to the category. --Canley 14:42, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

Actually looking at List of universities in Australia, it explains why although for almost all practical purposes AMC is a university, it technically isn't due to its narrow academic focus. I think I'll revert it. --Canley 14:52, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
