Category:United States Navy seaplane tenders
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Seaplane tenders were used by the U.S. Navy throughout World War II to support seaplanes both in combat areas and in home harbors.
Since seaplanes generally could not drive up onto land, they were usually anchored in the water and tended to by the assigned seaplane tender.
