--- Recently, there has been a notice of copyright violation posted in place of the UNH Precision Racing ("the team", "this organization") Wikipedia page. The alleged infringed content and its originating source were both originally transcribed by the same individual, so this is why the information on each page may sound similar.
The UNH Precision Racing Wiki was written by alumni of the organization who also were instrumental in creating documentation from which the wiki information is based. There was no intentional copying from one source to another, but many ideas and wordings may have been unintentionally shared between the two due to the aforementioned authoring of both sites by the same individuals.
The history of this organization stems from no other source than the team itself. All information contained both here and on the team's website (www.unh.edu/fsae) is freely available and redistributable for public use, provided the original sources are cited and the team as a whole are given credit for the information.
Because UNH Precision Racing is a constantly evolving organization, there is no real "head" person with whom to speak on this matter, but should such a person need to be contacted, please defer these inquiries to the team's general e-mail - unh dot fsae at gmail dot com. Personal inquiries on this issue may be addressed directly to me at npurmort at gmail dot com. Hopefully this note will resolve the copyright issue and the UNH Precision Racing wiki will be restored.
Thank you,
Nathan Purmort
