Ungogo town is the capital of Ungogo local government area of Kano State part of the Minjibir/ungogo federal constituency, in Nigeria.
Ungogo town is a historic town. Presently it is part of Kano City and Kano metropolitan area. Being on of the most populated of the 44 local government areas of Kano state, Ungogo is regarded as a politically important state.
