I'm fairly new to the editing and contributing side of Wikipedia, and would like to get more involved. I'm not looking to run the show, so to speak, but I would like to make meaningful contributions and be involved. At the moment I'm easing into it, because just jumping into this thing is a bit overwhelming to take in all at once, I think.
I have interests in Computer Science, Programming, Amateur Radio, Go, Literature, Sherlock Holmes, Web Development, and many other things. I guess I'm just looking to find smaller, less busy articles that I know something about, and contribute or even just watchlist them, and then go from there.
If anyone is feeling particularly helpful and kind, and would like to "adopt" me, I'd think having someone to show me around and assist me to digest all of this would be a very welcome help.
