Underworld (Talker)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Underworld was one of the ew-too talkers popular during the mid-1990s. Its user base was generally UK- and European-based.

It was infamous for the large number of Babylon 5 fans who used the talker to build a virtual representation of the station, complete with users taking Babylon 5 character names.

Underworld fell out of use as users moved on from talkers and the Internet migrated towards instant message systems.

[edit] Underworld reunited?

Douglas Adamson (aka Templar) and Nick Barlow (aka Random) have discussed the possibility of a reunion of the Underworld users who meet in Newcastle, Edinburgh and Kilmarnock over the period 1996 to 1997.
