Under the Blade is the debut album by American heavy metal band Twisted Sister, released on Secret Records on September 18, 1982. (U.S. Sales Certification - Gold). The album was Re-mixed & Re-released on Atlantic Records on July 14, 1985. The re-release also had a Remixed version of the song I'll Never Grow Up Now added. Under The Blade has sold over two million copies worldwide.
This album is often called a classic metal masterpiece. The album contained the hit single, the heavy metal title track, "Under the Blade" and the speed metal burner "Tear It Loose". Other cuts include "Destroyer", "Run for Your Life", "Sin After Sin" and "Shoot 'Em Down". The album is often compared with Manowar's debut album and Iron Maiden's groundbreaking release The Number of the Beast.
