Uncle Oswidge is a fictional character in the short lived cult classic Disney cartoon Dave The Barbarian he is voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson.
In the show he is Dave's uncle and it is speculated by fans that he is on Glimia's side of the family, though this is based solely on appearance. He is also Dave's, Candy's and Fang's guardian but in one episode Dave scolded Candy for not watching him properly and leaving him in a room filled with nut logs.
He is rather clumsy and usually (but accidentally) wreaks havoc with his spells rather than being useful. He is also far from the stereotypical sorcerer as it was revealed in one episode that he never really went to sorcerer school, he just worked in the cafeteria.
Uncle Oswidge loves to eat and presents a rather unkempt appearance. One time he ate a leg of ham which Throktar and Glidia bought for Faffy for dragon's day, in just one bite. He has stated he can't control himself around ham. He also can't resist this (speculated) candy known as "Nut Logs". And ate about 10 boxes full of them in one afternoon.
Like his niece Fang, he secretly likes to play with dolls.
His catchphrase is his favorite spell "Benzoyl Peroxide". Another thing he usually says is "no" whenever Fang asks if she can do an act of violence towards something or someone.
