Talk:Uncle Arthur
The reason this page has been listed should be fairly obvious - he was a joke character, mentioned once. Considering other far more notable characters are combined into one article, and that the infromation is already at Simpson family#Extended_family, making this article redundent. If this article is kept, then that would mean every single one off gag in the Simpsons is notable for a wiki entry. As for the other "unseen and mentioned once" characters - they shouldn't have articles either. Aplogises for not adding this notice to this discussion page earlier, I thought I had. I'd hardly call this character minor, because other more notable characters in the Simpsons are still considered minor. This character doesn't even get an appearence. A gag character seems to be a better discription, how-ever the disambiguation seems like a good idea. --ACE Spark 18:38, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
