From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hailing from Budapest in Hungary, The Unbending Trees are a trio, and specialize in sparse, brutally honest, chamber ballads and slo-core pop. Kristof Hajos (vocals, words) has been involved in various musical projects before founding The Unbending Trees in 2006. Havasi (piano) is a Hungarian pianist and graduated at the Hungarian Music Academy. Peter Hary (bass, programming) lives in the countryside in Kecskemét and loves New Wave, New Romantics and Gary Numan. They are all in their thirties. The Unbending Trees were discovered by Ben Watt via myspace and subsequently signed to Strange Feeling Records. The Unbending Trees released their debut EP in September in the United Kingdom, which was later on licensed to their home country, Hungary by mTon/Magneoton.
