About me
I've been reading Wikipedia since spring 2005, and have been editing since August 2006. My main contributions are within a rather narrow field and pretty much all take place at the Video Games WikiProject. Given the amount of time I spend editing Wikipedia, you'd think that by now I'd have a pretty impressive portfolio of articles. Well, if you exclude the countless articles I've peer reviewed and assessed (as I do, since I either made little or no actual improvements myself), I don't. It's true I've done a lot of work at Wikiproject Inheritance Cycle, but aside from Eragon (video game) and one or two sections of one or two articles, I've done a negligible amount. One day I might contribute to a history/science-related article, but until then I'm happy improving the quality of video game articles.
Outside of Wikipedia, I live in the United Kingdom and am studying for my A-levels (if you're wondering, maths, further maths, physics, chemistry and critical thinking). I intend to study physics at university.
Current goals
Where you'll find me on Wikipedia
-
- Most articles to do with this are on my watchlist, though they're only there to prevent vandalism. Might write some out-of-universe stuff for Eragon.
-
- I'm taking a break from assessing/peer review-ing to focus on making more "direct" improvements to articles.
Disclaimer
- I'm not a multitasker; I'm usually only making major edits to one page at a time. If that.
- I have an irksome habit of starting to work on something, then getting bored with it and wandering off elsewhere.
- I'm a great one for Grammar Nazis, even though my own standard of English is fairly poor. Relatively speaking, again.
