- Sorry for the belated reply, but I was kind of indisposed (meaning: have been in the hospital). As to yout request: I've restored the article in question, but still do feel that it is kind of spammy, apart from the link, and I also think that it does not establish the notability of the subject (which was in my mind as I deleted it, but unfortunately I did not write it down). As to your not so friendly comments on my talk-page, administrators are humans too, and not spambots; I understand that you place great store on the subject, but see that other people may feel differently about a lot of subjects. Cheers and happy editing. Lectonar 13:30, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
- There is a way. Add a wikilink to the page you which to have CorenSearchBot check to User:CorenSearchBot/manual and it will give a report within a few minutes. — Coren (talk) 15:18, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of First Tuesday
A tag has been placed on First Tuesday, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD a7.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Ridernyc 11:22, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Mary Perkins
A tag has been placed on Mary Perkins requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit] GlassesDirect/SpecSavers
I think you may have posted a comment to my userpage regarding Glassesdirect, when you may have intended the comment for another editor. I have not made any comments or edits to the article since its Articles for Deletion discussion in March of last year (in fact, its just dumb luck that I happened to log in at all...I haven't done much of anything in Wikipedia in over a year), and don't recall ever having made any edits to the article, its talk page or to its AfD discussion where I had stated anything about the company claiming to have two stores. If I'm incorrect, please provide me with a link to my edits so that I can refresh my memory...but, as I mentioned earlier, I think the post may have been placed on my page by mistake. [edit] Internet Tablet OS Security.
Hi there : )
I've been looking at the Internet Tablet OS article, and noticed the debate regarding the security section. After thinking about it, I've decided that the problem is not that the information is untrue, per se, but that the section details many security flaws that are present in many network-connected operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc), and it is therefore somewhat misleading to give undue emphasis the existence of those flaws in ITOS specifically.
However, security in operating sytems is very important, and I think the best idea would be to add an appropriate section to a "software security" article titled something like "Common flaws present in generic operating systems", and go in to detail there. You could then trim the Security section in ITOS down to one paragraph, and add a link the the new Security section you'd created.
All the best : )
