"Umgestülpter Zuckerhut" (topsy-turvy sugar loaf), half-timbered house in Hildesheim (Germany) - ca. 1900 (Andreasplatz 29), constructed in 1648. The building was destroyed by the air raid of the Royal Air Force during WW2 on March 24th 1945, between 1:13 and 1:26 p.m., one month before the end of the war and two weeks before the British Second Army and US Army reached Hildesheim. 700 buildings of the picture town were destroyed and 1000 people died.
