Hey Ume, read Wikipedia:Manual of Style for Japan-related articles - We use Hepburn and we do not place ruby characters in articles. WhisperToMe 16:58, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
The manual of style states that Wikipedia is not meant to actually teach the Japanese language - Again, please read the kana debates. We have decided not to pinpoint ruby characters. WhisperToMe 21:40, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
