[edit] Organization
USBE is organized into four academic units (or departments) of Accounting and Finance, Entrepreneurship, Management, and Marketing. Every academic staff member belongs to one of these four departments. Each department is headed by a professor who is assigned responsibilities for coordinating activities within the department, overseeing quality, promoting research, suggesting syllabus developments, and coordinating the supervision of doctoral candidates within the discipline. The activities of the departments are organized into two main categories: research and education. The head of each department is responsible for a research team and a teaching team, both of which are highly integrated. Departmental academic faculty, whether primarily research or teaching staff, meet regularly and are responsible for designing courses in their respective disciplines and for the progress of academic work.
