Umbraculum is a genus of unusual sea snails or limpets, marine opistobranch gastropod molluscs in the family Umbraculidae, and the order Notaspidea.
For more information see Umbraculidae. The animal is much larger than the shell, with a large fleshy foot. The head bears two laterally slit tentacles.
