Umar Patek is a member of Jemaah Islamiyah who is wanted in the United States, Australia, and Indonesia on terrorism charges. There is a $1 million reward being offered by the Rewards For Justice Program for information leading to his capture[1]. Patek is believed to have served as the assistant for the field coordinator of the 2002 bombings in Bali, Indonesia, which killed 202 people. Patek was born in 1970 and is a Javanese Arabic man, 166 cm tall, weighing 60 kg, with a brown complexion. He is also known as Umar Kecil, Umar (Arab), Pa'tek, Pak Taek, Abu Syekh, and Zacky.
Patek was reported killed September 14, 2006 in the Sulu province of the Philippines[2]. But this report was never confirmed, and Patek is still being sought.
