Umar Hajee Ahmed Jhaveri

Umar Hajee Ahmed Jhaveri was an Indian-South African businessman. It was a court case concerning him that brought Mahatma Gandhi to South Africa. Hajee Ahmed assisted Gandhi in setting up the South African Indian Congress.
