[edit] Welcome

Hello, welcome to Wikipedia.

Here are some tasks you can do:

You might find these links helpful in creating new pages or helping with the above tasks: How to edit a page, How to write a great article, Naming conventions, Manual of Style. You should read our policies at some point too.

If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian!

  • You can sign your name using three tildes, like this: ~~~. If you use four, you can add a datestamp too.
  • If you ever think a page or image should be deleted, please list it at the votes for deletion page. There is also a votes for undeletion page if you want to retrieve something that you think should not have been deleted.

Again, welcome! - UtherSRG 14:28, 6 May 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Ama no Jaku

I just stopped by to mention that I agree with you about the meaning of 'Ama no Jaku' and that I've edited that article accordingly. BTW, has someone vandalized your user page? It's a bit... odd. Franzeska 21:52, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

True, 'imp of heaven' is peculiar as well, but that was the most common translation I found online. I have the impression that some other name for the same creatures involves the ocean, so perhaps that's where the confusion arose from.

[edit] Renaming an article

Hi Uly,

User:Endroit was kind enough to rename the article for you.

Wikipedia calls it "moving" so the way to do it is to click the Move tab near the top of the window. Then enter the new name and take it from there. The Move tab only appears when you're logged in, so in the future if you don't see it, simply log in (you were logged in when you put in the move request, so I'm sure you know all about that).

Best regards,

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Characters of Final Fantasy XII, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Thank you. — Blue 01:00, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
