I am an Administrator on the English Wikipedia. I edit what I can, as I can.

I frequently include WP:TWWPK as my edit summary. It stands for That's why we preview, kids, and links to an essay on the subject. Though I almost always preview, I invariably screw something up when I don't. TWWPK is an easy mnemonic.

I has a bukket. I also report users as sockpuppets. I keep a list of cases I have researched in my case file.

I was a candidate for the Arbitration Committee in December of 2005. Fortunately for all concerned, I was not elected. I served as an election officer during the 2007 Election cycle. In January 2008, I successfully requested adminship.

You may have noticed that my Userpage is, for all appearances, a jumbled mess of links, fields, tables, reports, and ZOMG Dhrama. This is only partially true; where one may see a mess, I merely see clutter - and I know where everything is, so I can find what I need quickly. This page also serves to facilitate my incredible laziness by putting most all of the links I routinely use in one place. So, if a table doesn't line up properly, meh - no problem. I'll have it fixed before the deadline.

I'm adding one of my favorite template (links) here, for laziness' sake: {{Calm talk with tea}}. Thank you.

[edit] Scripts I've Created

• AFDsort - A script that adds a sorting function to the edit window, used for adding debates on Articles for Deletion to the appropriate category per CAT:AFD. I am thankful for assistance from User:Ais523 on scripting, and from User:Digitalme, whose AIV helper provided a starting point for this script.

I also worked on an AfD tracker, a draft of which may be found here. The idea eventually became User:AfDBot, which updates charts found here and here. Special thanks to User:ST47 for the excellent work.

[edit] Major Article Contributions

I've participated in Featured Article Review. Though I very specifically had nothing whatsoever to do with writing or nominating these articles to Featured Status, I'm proud of the fact that we were able to take once great articles and polish them enough to pass current FA standards. With substantial help from others (!), I've helped in retaining the following as Featured Articles:

• Apollo 8 (FAR)
• Stuyvesant High School (FAR)
• Mercury (planet) (FAR)

I have also created the following articles. On a long enough timeframe, the chance of this list growing is 100%.

• Golf Club Managers' Association (with User:Albo2005)
• Gentiana scabra, or the Japanese gentian

• Mining in South Africa

I also created Fusaye Ichikawa, which already existed as Fusae Ichikawa, so I ended up doing a major expansion instead of a page creation - which, you know, is OK.

I had a list of my milestone edits (1st, 2,500th, etc), but I have since decided to simply include a link to Milestone, one of my favorite wiki tools. The specific contributions may change with deletions, etc., and it's not incredibly relevant which contributions were which.
