Ultraliberalism

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ultra-liberalism is a phrase used to describe political thought on the left of the United States Democratic Party. It is usually a pejorative term, although some individuals have used it to classify themselves[citations needed].

In French or in Spanish, the term is sometimes used to refer to strong believers in laissez-faire capitalism, and could be considered equivalent to the American use of the term libertarian, with a strong pejorative tone.
