This image, Ultimate xmen cover 002.jpg, is being linked here; though the picture is subject to copyright I (Peregrine Fisher Talk) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

1. No free alternative can exist given, the likeness of the Ultimate X-Men is a trademark and thus protected;
2. It is a low resolution copy of a comic book cover;
3. It does not limit the copyright owner's rights to sell the comic book in any way;
4. Copies could not be used to make illegal copies of the comic book cover art on another comic book;
5. The image is significant; it is the cover to Ultimate X-Men #2 which is the first issue to feature the Ultimate X-Men on the cover. Note: issue #1 would have been used, but it only shows Wolverine.
6. The issue in question is discussed within the article, thus using this image to identify the issue is thought to be fair use;
